The motor grader B-Series consists of seven models, including five tandem drive graders ranging in operating weight from 33,400 to 43,250 pounds and from 141 to 242 horsepower. The fully sequential direct-drive Volvo 8400 transmission provides eight forward and four reverse speeds. Largest in the grader line is the G746B, with all-wheel drive so all six wheels are powered to grip the ground in poor footing and add an extra 7,500 pounds more pull in front of the moldboard.
