Model TB257FR Takeuchi excavator has a patented side-to-side offset boom and tight tail swing. Operating weight on the Takeuchi compact excavator is 2,765 pounds, dig depth is 12 feet 9.3 inches, and bucket breakout force is 10,431 pounds. The maximum reach on the 52-horsepower unit is 20 feet 4.7 inches.
The side-to-side boom enables the TB257FR to dig offset to the right or left side without needing to reposition the machine. To greatly enhance stability, this feature allows more of the counterweight to remain in line with the center of the machine. The boom can be stowed over center, allowing for a full rotation just outside the width of the track.
The Takeuchi excavator has a Kubota V2403-CR-TE5B turbocharged diesel engine for 52.3 horsepower and 141.5 lb.-ft. of torque. It uses a DOC and DPF exhaust aftertreatment system.
