Upgraded with the Tier 4-Final Cat C4.4 ACERT engine, the D3K2, D4K2 and D5K2 dozers are rated at 80, 92 and 104 horsepower, respectively. The engine use cooled EGR. Building on the series’ Stable Blade feature, the units now have Automatic Traction Control, which reduces track slippage by automatically adjusting operating parameters to keep the machines moving productively. Slope Indicate and Slope Assist features aid operator control of slope. Slope Indicate displays blade cross-slope and mainfall direction; Slope Assist automatically maintains mainfall through pre-set blade angles.
