The DSC Dredge Barracuda Class dredge features a swinging-ladder design and offers the option of two front-swing winches, making it a two-in-one dredge that converts from a swing ladder dredge to a conventional dredge without sacrificing portability, the company says.
Available in either diesel or electric power, discharge sizes range from 10 inches to 18 inches. Other standard features include a user-friendly control panel with a PLC-based operating system, and a power up/down spud system with API-rated winch drums for proper cable storage. A rear-kicking spud for dredge positioning and advancement also comes standard. Optional spud traveling carriages or two stern kicker spuds are available upon request.
