DJ and his father started the company, and DJ is involved in all aspects of the fleet, from acquisition, maintenance, and decisions about when to sell machines. He helps both new and veteran employees learn new concepts that help them not only grow the company, but also grown themselves. “The company has grown exponentially because anyone who is willing to learn is given a chance to grow with the company,” he says.
Professional accomplishments: Helping to build a company that began with four employees to a company that averages 35 to 40 full-time employees in a matter of 11 years. Adding a quarry that produces state-approved material.
Off the clock: Riding my ATV, spending time with my family.
Extracurricular: Numerous charitable and volunteer organizations including Equinunk Fire Company and Damascus Volunteer Ambulance.

Fun fact: DJ runs Rutledgedale Farms, the family beef farm.
