This is designed to prevent repairs that can range up to $2,000, says manufacturer Goodall. Traditionally, running out of gas turns the Start All generators into starting motors, powered from the just-charged battery. This causes the generators to overheat. The new "Run Out Of Gas Module" will also be available for retrofitting existing Start Alls in the field.
