DeWalt introduces its first Portable Stick & TIG Welder (DCW100K), which can be operated in cordless mode or plugged into a 20 Amp circuit or generator.

With an internal lithium ion battery, the DCW100K recharges while it’s plugged in. The external 4.4-pound 50-minute charger keeps the DCW100K ready to use remotely. Weighing less than 25 pounds, the welder itself is easy to move around a job site, the company says. At 140 Amps Max Stick and 150 Amps Max TIG, the unit features a digital display that indicates the amperage and control values, manipulated via adjustment dial. Other displays include a Stick/TIG Welder Type Selector and a Hot Start/Soft Start setting that allows the DCW100K to start easily and maintain a stable arc at low amperage.

New line of Thule-licensed heavy-duty commercial truck rack and storage products from Dewalt includes more than 60 aluminum boxes.

DEWALT's new line of portable generators (models DG3000, DG4400B, DG6300B, DG7000B) have rated AC outputs of 2,920 to 6,550 watts and are equipped, says the company, with CARB-compliant DEWALT commercial-grade engines. The DG4400B, DG6300B and DG7000B can use a battery-start option, using the same cordless battery system as the 18-volt tools.
