Danfoss, ASI Partner on Autonomous Tech

Danfoss has formed a strategic partnership with Autonomous Solutions (ASI) to collaborate on autonomous technology. The goal of the partnership is to enable more customers to adopt autonomous solutions for the applications, according to a press release.

“This partnership demonstrates our ambition to invest in autonomy and be the innovative partner for our customers,” said Kim Fausing, president/CEO of Danfoss in a prepared statement. “It’s a promising partnership and we are excited about the potential in vehicle automation.”

Mel Torrie, ASI president/CEO said in a statement:

“ASI has been using the innovative Danfoss components over the last 20 years to support our autonomy development with the world’s leading vehicle OEMs. This new partnership will ensure manufacturers have the needed support to streamline their efforts in making autonomous industrial vehicles a mainstream reality.”

Eric Alström, president of Danfoss Power Solutions, said in a statement:

“We align our strengths and secure the relationship between ASI and Danfoss Power Solutions with the partnership. That will allow us to take a leap toward reaching a common goal of enabling more customers to adopt autonomous solutions.”
