High winds are being blamed in a crane collapse on Merritt Island in Florida at the Cape Canaveral Hospital construction site.
A lattice boom crawler crane collapsed onto the cab of a heavy truck parked on the site.

According to news reports, the accident hospital construction site is managed by Gilbane Building. The company said is a statement that the two workers killed were trade contractors.
Work has been suspended at the site, according to Gilbane.
