Tadano GTC-600-2 Crawler Crane
Model GTC-600-2 Tadano crane has been added to the GTC series of telescopic boom crawler cranes, replacing the 55-ton GTC-550.
The GTC-600-2 has a 113.8-foot full power boom, and an extension and jib measuring 28.9 feet and 49.9 feet.
The GTC-600-2 has jib capacities to 2.5 degrees out of level, dual hook operation with auxiliary nose sheave or jib, winches with 16-mm rope, remote control for all rigging operations standard, and gradeability at 85%.
It has the Tadano AML-C Rated Capacity Indicator and has operating load charts for 0.5-, 1.5-, 2.5-, and 4-degree slope with automatic out of level load chart switching based on the crane’s position on the job site. It is also possible for the operator to set work zone limits for swing angle, height, and radius, and the crane has functional soft stops as operation approaches these pre-set limits.
The GTC-600-2 is powered by a Cummins 260-horsepower diesel engine.
