CNH Industrial announced that it will temporarily close several of its European agricultural, commercial vehicle, and powertrain manufacturing facilities. The company did not identify which factories would be closed, but it said the shutdown will continue for “no longer than eight working days in the month of October.”
It cited “ongoing disruptions to the procurement environment and shortages of core components, especially semiconductors” as the reason for the shutdowns.
