Creve Coeur, Mo.— Clayco has successfully completed construction of the 10-story CityPlace Six office building in the CityPlace mixed-use development in Creve Coeur. The $26-million design-build project marked Clayco's fifth collaboration with CityPlace's developer, The Koman Group. Clayco previously completed CityPlace Five, CityPlace Four, CityPlace Three, and an expansion to CityPlace Retail.

Designed by Forum Studio Inc., CityPlace Six faces the intersection of Olive Boulevard and CityPlace Drive, just east of Interstate 270. According to Tom Sieckhaus, Clayco's project executive, the team completed the project in just 16 months by using prefabricated brick panels for the exterior wall. This innovation also helped to compress the schedule by removing the necessity of masonry scaffolding. Advanced Masonry Technologies, the masonry contractor, installed the panels through the winter months when in-field masonry would have been difficult, and Concrete Strategies erected all of the structural steel.
