Chicago Pneumatic generator model CPG 625 is the largest in the lineup, 625 kVA prime power. It has a 724-horsepower Volvo Penta Tier 4-F engine that uses SCR for exhaust aftertreatment.
The generator has an AREP alternator excitation system that provides 300 percent overcurrent starting capabilities coupled to the engine’s capacity to stand a 100 percent load step. Standard external fuel tank connections and dual fuel filters allows the generator to run extended periods. An internal 700-gallon fuel tank runs 27 hours at 75 percent load.
The DeepSea 7310 control module is a fully diagnostic controller with a three-inch display. The controller is intuitive and easy to operate with all functions conveniently at the operator’s fingertips. It manages the engine operating system and has several safety warnings and shutdowns on various parameters.
