2003 Kodiak/TopKick C4500/C5500 Series trucks

The 2003 Kodiak/TopKick C4500/C5500 Series trucks have improved power trains, stronger frames, aerodynamic design and more comfortable interiors. GVWR for the C4500 is 16,000 pounds, and the C5500 comes in at 18,000 and 19,500 pounds. A 53-degree wheel cut and greater stability allow turning diameters of 35.3 feet. Visibility has been greatly improved; drivers can see objects on the ground as close as 13.8 feet in front of the truck. Duramax or Vortec engines mate to Allison or ZF transmissions.
