Caterpillar PM620, PM622, PM820, PM822, PM825 Cold Planers

Caterpillar half-lane cold planers now meet Tier 4-F emission standards with the Cat C18 800.6-horsepower diesel. This includes models PM620, PM622, PM820, PM822 and PM825 milling machines.

Updated handrails pivot to stow as the machines approach an obstacle on the right-hand side. The obstacle jump function has been improved with visual indicators on the top edge of the side plates that indicate where the rotor is positioned.

An updated track pin design lowers the pin location to increase tractive effort and force on the undercarriage in deep or hard applications. Bolt-on hardened-steel wear skis run the full length of the side plates, and a wear shoe protects the anti-slab assembly.

Cat System K milling rotors enable material flow and are available with spacings of 8 mm, 15 mm, and 18 mm for a wide range of milling applications. The dual taper retention design provides a reliable method for holding the tool holders in the blocks without the need for a retaining pin or bolt. Reversible paddles and high strength alloys offer more resistance to abrasion and reduce wear for extended rotor life.
