    CaterpillarThe 561N Pipelayer comes equipped with an electronically controlled engine with more power and reduced emissions, new fingertip controls and improved viewing area. Although it replaces the 561M, the new model retains features such as hydraulic draw-works, two-speed load line, extendable counterweight, elevated sprocket design, planetary powershift transmission and modular component design. The unit has a 40,000-pound lift capacity.
