Caterpillar AP-655C

The AP-655C asphalt paver is an 8-foot machine featuring Cat's Mobil-trac (rubber-track) undercarriage, a 174-hp Cat 3056E ATAAC diesel, and an on-demand variable-speed cooling fan. The material-control system has independent control of both augers and both feeders, which eliminates the need for feeder gates on the new machine, Cat says. The unit also features two operator's stations that can be moved to four different positions.
