Caterpillar 928G

Updated versions of the 928G wheel loader and IT28G integrated tool carrier feature an electronically controlled Cat 3056E diesel engine. Rated at 131 net horsepower, the new engine is Tier-2 compliant and delivers a 48 percent torque rise. Changes in the cab include new gauges and expanded indicator and diagnostic functions. The wheel loader continues to use Z-bar linkage, and the tool carrier continues to use Cat's 8-bar, parallel-lift linkage.
