Capable of 65-mph Roadability

Sept. 28, 2010

Grove's TMS900E combines a North American truck crane chassis with a German-designed all-terrain superstructure for a 90-ton truck crane capable of road speeds of 65 mph. It uses the upper from the GMK4090 all-terrain crane, which provides a five-section full-power Megaform boom and features the exclusive Twin-Lock boom pinning system. Replacing the TMS875C, the new model has a stronger superstructure and boom design to outpick its predecessor by 15 percent. It also offers twice the counterweight, more counterweight combos, and more horsepower. Maximum main boom tip height is 150 feet. Estimated list price: $760,000 to $800,000.
