I interviewed former Transportation Sec. Ray LaHood before he spoke at Caterpillar's media dinner on October 29.
Known as a skilled bipartisan leader, Ray LaHood was the nation's 16th Secretary of Transportation, serving the Obama administration from 2009 to 2013. He also served in the US House of Representatives out of the 18th District of Illinois from 1995 to 2009. Today, he's a senior policy advisor for the Washington, DC, law firm of DLA Piper as well as a consultant to Caterpillar.
