The XAS 90 Tier 4-Final portable air compressor is designed for utility and pneumatic-tool applications demanding as much as 88 cubic feet per minute of air power.
The company’s HardHat canopy, which is made of durable, weather-resistant polyethylene, protects the compressor’s 24-horsepower Kubota diesel engine from dust and debris. The canopy also resists corrosion and fading, virtually eliminating the need to repaint, Atlas Copco says. In addition to the canopy, a two-stage air intake filter with service indicator prevents dust and dirt from flowing into the engine and, ultimately, the compressor. A service indicator alerts the operator when the filter needs changing.
