It is suitable for carriers in the 85- to 140-metric-ton weight class at use in heavy-excavation and trenching applications. Offering such features as AutoControl, PowerAdapt, ContiLube II and an energy recovery system, the HB 10000 also comes with a ProCare maintenance contract and ProCom GPS. Estimated list price: $575,000.

Cobra PROe and Cobra TTe gas-powered handheld breakers are available with two tool shank sizes and high power-to-weight ratios.

Atlas Copco’s SB 702 hydraulic breaker has a solid body, which the company says is a feature no other breaker in the 1,500-pound class has.
