The Ammann ACP 300 ContiHRT (High Recycling Technology) continuous mix asphalt plant can produce mix with more than 60 percent RAP. The company’s recycling technology maximizes RAP by “gentle pre-heating,” according to the company. It prevents asphalt cement oxidation, it says, enabling both the aggregate and the coating to be reused.

The plant uses a RAP dryer for recycled materials and a separate cold recycling feed. It can use shingles, liquid additives, fiber granulate, and foam asphalt concrete.

Warm mix can be produced with or without RAP, and continuous production capacity is 330 U.S. tons per hour.
