Graphisoft's ArchiCAD BIM Experience Kit is a finalist in the 23rd Annual CODiE Award competition for "Best Workforce Training Solution."
The CODiE Awards, sponsored by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), honor achievement and vision in software, education and technology. The award recognizes the high-tech industry's most outstanding products and services.
The BIM Experience Kit was chosen from more than 1,200 nominations submitted by more than 500 companies in a variety of software categories. Over 219 individuals in the trade press, consulting, education, information technology and other fields reviewed all of the products entered. CODiE Award winners will be announced in May.
The BIM Experience Kit helps architectural users of 2D CAD become familiar with working in 3-D building information modeling (BIM). The free kit combines a full-functioning version of ArchiCAD with an innovative multimedia training tutorial that guides users through the modeling of an actual Frank Lloyd Wright-designed project the Massaro House in upstate New York. The kit also includes testing to help support the learning process.
