Wacker Neuson Compact Dumper Line

Sept. 28, 2010

A new product-line offering to the U.S. market, the Wacker Neuson compact dumpers boast permanent four-wheel, hydrostatic drive for rough-terrain applications. The smallest of three units introduced, the 16.5-horsepower 1001 has a payload of 2,205 pounds, ideal for jobsite clean-up and residential landscaping. With payloads of 6,614 and 13,227 pounds, respectively, the 48.8-horsepower 3001 and 82-horsepower 6001 each has a power swivel, which allows the material-placing operator to dump at the front or either side of the unit. The addition of dumpers to a rough-terrain jobsite will, says Wacker Neuson, allow other machine types such as skid steers and wheel loaders to perform duties for which they are better suited. Estimated list price: $30,000 to $65,000.
