A California-based construction worker is recovering from an accident that occurred after a line on a crane snapped, sending a 250-pound ball crashing onto the back of his head. The victim, Angel Rico, was wearing a hard hat at the time that may have saved his life.
According to Gilbert Rico, Angel’s father, got his son Angel the job at Central Valley Tank, where he also works. He told Fox that his son will have to attend rehab for speech, and walking following the accident.
“This is something that we know is going to be a long road ahead…” he told Fox.
