Billed as a low-cost vacuum excavator system capable of hydro-excavation and retrieving wet and dry spoil, the Vermeer and McLaughlin V250 features a 575-cfm blower and an exclusive three-stage filtration system. It is powered by a 25-horsepower Kubota diesel engine with electric start and throttle. For ease of transport, it comes with a tandem axle, 7,000-pound GVWR trailer with electric brakes on each axle. Dual 50-gallon, fresh-water saddle tanks are positioned over the axle for better towing and decreased tongue load.
