Professional accomplishments: At the age of 10, I started operating a Komatsu 220-5 excavator. I learned the trade reading grade stakes and shooting elevations through eye levels, and most importantly, gaining knowledge from the best teacher, in my eyes, my grandpa. Today we still work together grading residential lots, excavating, and specializing in the erosion department.
Off the clock: We make time for boating and wake boarding at the lake with the family.
Favorite song: “Grandpa,” by Justin Moore. There is no better way to translate to lyrics my grandpa’s personality and our relationship. It describes his “old school” ways and him directing me on the path to living a successful honest life.
Extracurricular: I have donated to a local Christian school, grading and seeding around their school, playground and baseball field.
