Nissan will donate its Ultimate Work Titan to Habitat for Humanity, the second in a series of three Ultimate Titans built as part of its Calling All Titans campaign. The truck has a complete mobile office, toolkit, and off-road necessities.
Nissan and Habitat talked with construction site supervisors and volunteers across the country to find out what they needed most in a truck. Three common suggestions emerged, according to Nissan: off-road capability: interior treated like a mobile office; and a bed with access to tools, ladders, and lockable storage.
The base truck is a Titan XD Diesel Crew Cab. An Icon 3-inch suspension lift kit was added, which includes adjustable-height coil-over shock absorbers, custom rod end bearings, and patent-pending Delta Joints.
It has Nitto Ridge Grappler tires and Icon Alloys Rebond wheels, and a Warn Industries Zeon Platinum 12-S winch.
The mobile office includes a 13-inch laptop and a printer, as well as a custom desk and file storage with an additional power inverter.
The Bedslide 2000 Heavy Duty bed slide has a Decked lockable storage system. Commercial-class heavy-duty lockable tool boxes are included along the sides of the bed for additional storage. A TrailFX aluminum ladder rack holds multiple commercial-grade ladders, which are accessible with the help of the Titan XD bed step and dampened assist tailgate.
