Flex Pro controls allows operators to select the engine speed from slow, medium, or auto.

Flex Pro controls are now available on all Terex Utilities Commander digger derricks, offering the ability to adjust speed, troubleshoot electrical issues, and detect hydraulic and temperature overload on site.

Flex Pro can be configured to communicate with the control stations according to the utility line crew’s needs," said Joe Caywood, director of marketing and product management. "It supports below rotation controls like a corner mount swing away operator console, plug and play radio controls and dual command post joystick controls."

The Commander C4047, and all models in the 4000, 5000, and 6000 series, boasts strong work zone capacities for distribution and transmission applications at low boom angles. Commander digger derricks are built to dig holes and set poles without requiring the operator to reposition the truck.

The standard full pressure hydraulic control system offered on Commander digger derricks is known for its feel-and-feather operation and reliability," said Caywood. "However, the addition of Flex Pro controls allows operators to select the engine speed from slow or medium or auto to full speed just by operating the controls."
