Schwing's new modular mast and accessory system enables mounting the manufacturer's placing booms (28, 31, 32 and 39 meters) on the same octagonal mast sections. The bolt-together, 6-meter modular sections allow mast height to be adjusted to suit the job and allow free-standing applications to 65 feet for the 32-meter boom and to 45 feet for the 39-meter boom.

The bolt-together, 6-meter modular sections allow mast height to be adjusted to suit the job and allow free-standing applications to 65 feet for the 32-meter boom and to 45 feet for the 39-meter boom. The modular system also is designed to allow rapid changes in the field if project requirements necessitate a switch in length or type of mounting. The same octagonal mast works in free-standing, self-climbing, and non-climbing slab-supported applications. Each 6-meter mast section lists for $16,800.
