Ditch Witch JT60 Directional Drill

Oct. 10, 2013

Two horizontal direction drills, the JT60 and JT60 All Terrain, fill the gap between the 40,000- and 100,000-pound offerings. With 60,000 pounds of thrust and pullback force, the drills have 9,000 lb.-ft. of rotational torque. Either a Tier 3, 190-horsepower engine or a Tier 4-Interim 200-horsepower version can be specified. The 150-gpm fluid pump is enclosed for noise reduction and protection. The cab is climate-controlled, and the drill has a heavy-duty double rack-and-pinion thrust drive. The All Terrain version has a patented, two-pipe drilling system.
