Quixote

Moveable Vulcan barrier from Quixote is a portable, crashworthy steel barrier for work zones designed to be repositioned as zones change. Barrier can be moved using a skid-steer or wheel loader with the Vulcan transfer attachment. The company says a mile of barrier can be shifted in less than 20 minutes. Barrier prevents vehicle penetration, vaulting and underriding, the company says, and it redirects vehicles back toward its original travel path. Barrier meets NCHRP 350 TL-3 and TL-4 and EN-1317 H2 & N2 as a redirective longitudinal barrier.
