Improvements enable training managers to track employee training.

JLG University has been updated to provide improved ways for training managers to manage and track employee training, including the ability to assign specific courses, view students’ progress, download completion certificates, and access new digital operator IDs.

JLG University contains ANSI-required safety training courses for machine operators, service technicians, and supervisors. A train-the-trainer program qualifies instructors to train operators.

“As the access industry continues to experience exponential growth, the need for quality, expert-led training is more important than ever,” said Rick Smith, director of product training, in a statement. “That’s why we’re making significant investments in our training offerings, combining JLG University and AccessReady into one, all-encompassing, all-new JLG University platform.”

The training platform includes a library of content and videos, as well as learning paths for continued growth. The University is available through a single sign-on and connects with other JLG platforms, including JLG.com and OnlineExpress.

JLG University courses are available in several formats, including:

  • Traditional classroom settings at JLG training centers and customer locations
  • Instructor-led online training
  • Self-paced e-learning

We also have a laser focus on product development, performance, and technology; as well as equipment acquisition, disposal, and maintenance. Our exclusive Field Tests take earthmoving equipment and truck into the field for professional evaluations.
