A man has died after being pulled head-first into a wood chipper while working on a tree-trimming crew in Saltville, Virginia, according to a report from Fox 28 Savannah. The man, whose name has not been released, was a part of a crew working on a home on First Avenue.
According to Chief Erik Puckett, the incident happened around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The death was ruled an accident, although the circumstances of how he ended up in the wood chipper have not been revealed.
