A 19-year-old boy used a crane to pull 14 people out of a building that was on fire near China’s Liaoning city. The worker, Lan Junze, was working at a nearby construction site when he noticed a seven story building go up in smoke. According to reports, cell phone footage shows Junze evacuating residents from the upper floors of the building.
“The temperature was very high,” he told Scroll. “I could feel the burn on my face.”
