Top 100: Overhauled Dozer Line

All of Komatsu's dozers incorporated significant enhancements this past year. For example, the midsize dozers—the D61, D65, D85 and D155—now feature a hydrostatic steering system for precise response to controls, and they also have the largest cabs in the industry. Komatsu says it is the only manufacturer to offer the Palm Command Control System throughout its entire product line, which is ergonomically designed for efficient operation and operator comfort. The machines also offer extensive onboard diagnostic systems. An Electronically Controlled Modulation Valve provides smooth, shockless clutch engagement. Estimated list prices: $225,000 to $510,000.
