Top 100: Oil-Injected Rammers Run at 120:1

Sept. 28, 2010

Wacker's patented rammer models (BS 500-oi, BS 600-oi and BS 700-oi) combine the company's proven WM 80 two-stroke-cycle engine (designed specifically for rammer use) with an oil-injection system. The oil-injection system eliminates the need to premix oil and gas, and it uses only 1 part oil to 120 parts of fuel. Benefits claimed for the engine's lean oil consumption include 65 hours of rammer use on a single tank of oil, less smoke and fumes, less plug fouling, less carbon buildup and compliance with the EPA's 2004 emissions standard.
