Braking options available on International's six-cylinder I-6 engines (DT 466, DT 570, and HT 570) include the Diamond Logic Engine Brake with three braking-energy settings, and Diamond Logic Exhaust Brake that creates back pressure in the EVRT turbocharger rather than adding devices to the engine. The variable-geometry turbo and electro-hydraulic G2 fuel system required for exhaust-gas recirculation (EGR) also optimize boost at all engine speeds and loads. The DT 570 and HT 570 come in ratings up to 340 horsepower and 1,150 lbs.-ft. of torque. The DT 466 is available up to 300 horsepower and 860 lbs.-ft. These International engines are sold only in International trucks.
