It's often a difficult and time-consuming job to manually measure ("stick") the depth of a trench, especially in uneven terrain. According to Ditch Witch, the solution to this cumbersome task is its new Trench Depth Meter, which provides an automatic digital readout of depth as the trencher works. The new system, which monitors depth via sensors on the tractor and digging attachment, assists in placing utilities at a uniform depth, and this information can be stored in memory for future use.
