 SCS900 Trimble's 1.1 version of the SCS900 Site Controller provides data for material-stockpile and day-to-day progress volumes for the earthmoving contractor. The unit features Microsoft Excel for instant in-field reporting and CAD standards for data manipulation and model viewing. (No knowledge of CAD is required for use of the system.) The system is specifically designed for site measurement, stakeout, monitoring and quantification of earthmoving, grading and finishing operations. Estimated list price: $350 for upgrade; $16,000 to $43,000 for a new system.
