Samsung has added the Galaxy XCover6 Pro smartphone and the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro tablet to its rugged mobile device portfolio.

Both products are built to withstand harsh environments like job sites. Both devices were designed with the needs of construction managers and crews in mind, featuring replaceable batteries, 5G connectivity, programmable keys, and other tools to stay connected and improve communications on the job site and with the office. Key features for construction include upgraded MIL-STD-810H certification, an IP68 rating, and damage-resistant screens. Using the devices’ programmable keys, construction workers can turn on a walkie-talkie function through push-to-talk. Both devices also come with a louder-than-ever speaker volume to ensure workers can hear voice messages and notifications loud and clear, even at noisy job sites. Enhanced Touch Sensitivity settings allow workers to navigate the touch screen without taking their gloves off.
