    Roadtec's new SP-200asphalt spray paver has the ability to spray asphalt cement or emulsion directly in front of mix or material being placed, thus facilitating the installation of both NovaChip surface treatments and conventional asphalt mixes requiring a tack coat. If no tack coat is required, the gravity-fed SP-200 places hot mix in a conventional manner. The spray system uses a 2,100-gallon heated tank and three rows of spray nozzles, which can be controlled by an on-board microprocessor. Estimated list price: $850,000.
