Schweiss hydraulic doors can now be opened or closed during an unexpected power outage with a DC battery-motorized back-up control system.
Doors are also engineered with a no-extra-cost drill-driven back-up system that uses a screw gun 7/16-inch socket hex head, and hydraulic tractor fittings come standard with each Schweiss Red Power Pump hydraulic unit. Emergency door lowering can be as simple as turning a screw on the pump, the company says. The hydraulic pump system uses a fan-cooled Leeson 1,800 rpm motor available in 2- to 10-horsepower configurations depending on the size and weight of the door.
