Trimble Site Positioning Systems product family — the SPS780 and SPS880 Smart GPS Antennas and the SPS750 and SPS850 Modular GPS Receivers — is made up of hardware built for highway-and-heavy contractors' use, and offers scalable GPS performance to fit various budgets. Both component families offer the option to buy Basic, Max and Extreme levels of functionality — from low-cost, entry-level receivers, to flexible high-performance receivers for large sites. Extreme-level components can use all planned GPS signal modernization (L2C, L5) and can track additional satellite constellations such as GLONASS. Estimated list price: $30,000–$48,000.
