Sakai RS45 Tamper/Rammer

Sept. 28, 2010

Sakai’s high impact, low vibration tamper/rammers – the RS45 at 110 pounds, RS65 at 160 pounds and RS75 at 180 pounds – are powered by Honda gasoline engines ranging in horsepower from 2.3 to 2.8. They offer plate sizes from 9 x 13.5 inches to 11 x 13.5 inches and impact frequencies of 10.8 vpm to 11.3 vpm. Sakai says its rammers are suited for narrow trenches, residential projects and compaction in any other small and confined spaces.
