Putzmeister Hopper Cam

Sept. 28, 2010

The Hopper Cam is a rear-vision camera system designed to provide a clear, long-distance (up to 100 feet), wide-angle (up to 120 degrees) view behind the hopper of a truck-mounted concrete boom pump. A 2-×3-inch, heavy-duty camera mounts just above the hopper and transmits a color video image to a flat-panel LCD monitor on the truck's dash. The system also features a camera-mounted microphone to transmit sound to the truck driver, as well as infrared illuminators for low light conditions.
