Seismic Detailing of Concrete Buildings from the Portland Cement Association (PCA) is a comprehensive summary of the seismic detailing requirements contained in the 2006 International Building Code. Numerous tables and figures illustrate provisions for components in buildings located in regions of moderate and high seismic risk. A supplemental CD with electronic files prepared by PCA is included to help understand and implement seismic detailing of concrete building structures in working designs. Files provide reinforcement details for beams, columns, two-way slabs, walls, and foundations that meet ACI 318 seismic provisions.
