The Perkins 400 Series engines spans a power band from 11 to 66 horsepower. Addition of an air-to-air charge cooled engine at the top of the range increased power available by 8 percent, and two new mid-range models improved the choices. Up to 3 dB(A) noise reductions over the 400C reduces the cost of noise attenuation in applications. Use of SAE-type PTO flanges increases available torque by up to 60 percent. Estimated list price: $2,500–$6,000.
