The Portland Cement Association (PCA) is now offering the newest version of "Design and Control of Concrete Mixture," newly updated in 2008.

It addresses the fundamentals of freshly mixed and hardened concrete, including materials, air-entrainment, mix and curing procedures, hot- and cold-weather concreting, commonly used control tests for quality, and many more.

New chapters include information on supplementary cementing materials, fibers and high-performance concrete. Revised technical information is based on the latest ASTM, AASHTO, and ACI specs and standards, which are referenced extensively.

The manual is also available on searchable CD. The electronic version includes a comprehensive glossary, links to cement and concrete resources on the Internet, and metric conversion program.
